The Air Jordan 11 Low “Legend Blue” is based on an original colorway of Michael Jordan’s timeless eleventh signature shoe. Originally known as the “Columbia” Jordan 11 when it was released and worn by Michael Jordan in 1996, the crisp white-and-light-blue colorway is actually a “UNC” inspired design, sans any official naming by Nike or Jordan. In 2014, the “Columbia” was repackaged as the “Legend Blue,” though the design shares many similarities with the OG look. Here, this Spring 2021 version of the “Legend Blue” is dressed in crisp white leather with a white patent leather mudguard. A white mesh tongue, with Legend Blue “Jumpman Jordan” insignia contrasts the look of the black liner. Of note, the familiar “23” branding on the insole has been switched to “25,” a possible reference to the 2021 being the 25th anniversary of the original “Columbia” release. An icy blue semi-translucent outsole completes the look. Release date: May 7, 2021.
